These are places to both cultivate a relationship with God and friendships with others. We believe that being a part of Biblical community is foundational to your life as a follower of Jesus Christ. The goal of community is to foster growth in our relationship with God, our Christian brothers and sisters, our neighbors, and our non-Christians friends. In community we are known, loved, cared for, pursued, encouraged, and challenged to be more like Christ. In a community group we eat together, talk about life together, pray together and serve our city together.
Truly being a part of a church body means not just showing up on Sundays but connecting in community. That is why we offer mid-week community groups. Sundays are the time when we worship our risen Lord Jesus together through singing, hearing the preaching of God’s Word, and partaking in communion. Smaller groups are necessary for the building up of the body in our relationships and life together. Both gatherings, the big and the small, meet different needs in the spiritual health and life of the Church.
